Bachness Recap-

The last month been interesting and I have been very cheap.

I saved $384 so far.

Found out today the landlord is selling the the house I live in so I don't know what that means for next year except I have to save more.  It would be so nice if the Lord gave me a cute house that I only had to pay the taxes on that required minimal upkeep.

I will be tallying up what I saved on food but probably won't be able to take it out until December.

The Lord has been good to me by providing unexpected kindnesses in the forms of food.  Lunch with a friend, treat of White Castle, snacks from my neighbor.

I have kept the same $25 in my wallet for over a week.  It is nice to see it grow.

It looks like I will have to sock away at least $400 per month to approach my goal.

Halloween is in a few days and I want to give mt men goodie bags.  Let's see if the dollar store can still be my rabbit in a hat.

I still want to do Christmas and it will have to be DIY so it want cost too much.

I have been saving at least $15 per week from my food budget and have been knocking down my credit cards.  I have three clear ones and will have another clear one next month maybe two if I can swing it.

BACHness - Fugue Day 2

Still tweaking the savings plan.

Trying to see what is realistic for spending money per week and not having the feeling of reaching my financial goals.

Spoke with my sister about my niece's upcoming wedding - we have a date and a place so I came up with a number of what I need to have for that.

I go my hair done -$55.  It is once every three weeks so it really is my necessary monthly splurge and my hair is really healthy right now.

Did not have time to pack lunch so I bought it - $3.79.  First food money of the week and it really did tide me over until I go home.

Week totals - Food - 3.79     / Lottery- Paid $5- Got $2.

BACHness - Fugue - Day 1

Back to basics.

Here I am blogging again...

The last year has been more of a challenge financially because I was paying off massive doctor bills, my car decided it needed new stuff just after Christmas, I treated myself to a conference and my family trip was overseas.

As I look out for the next 12 months, I realized I need to save the equivalent of a month's gross earnings....in cash.

So once again, I remembered that I did well when I had to blog everyday about how much I spent and more importantly how much I saved if I did stuff, made stuff and bartered for what I needed/wanted.

My weekly allowance will be about the same as last year.

I will come up with my plan over the next week.

I am excited for my year's worth of adventures.

BACH Allegro - Day 3

Low and behold I got to church on time.

I treated a friend and her kids to pizza afterwards - she needed the adult conversation.

I went to Store #2 to see if any turkey thighs were coming up on manager discount.  I was thinking of using them with my butter chicken sauce.  A pack is ready tomorrow - will see if I can get them.

Went to the Asian store to see if there was any duck to be had.  There was not.  I was good and did not buy anything.

Did not feel like doing any cooking today - I have a few things I want to do tomorrow.

Food $XX.    Allowance $XX

BACH Allegro - Day 2

Didn't get a lt of sleep and I wanted to work on my home garden today - it is if full of rehad trash from the house next store.  Will have to ask my neighbor why it is there and when it will be moved.

Have to work tomorrow evening when I wasn't expecting to.  Will try and do some shopping before I hit the hay.

Treated two of my guys to coffee this evening- karma bank deposit.  They have been really helpful this week.  Also found five bucks so I came out even.

BACH Allegro - Day 1

I spent the morning in New York and was very good and did not go shopping in the local supermarkets - I didn't even get a soda for the road.

Got home and went to my Master Gardeners' Class.  We worked for about 15 minutes when the sky got very dark.  We all got back to our cars about two minutes before the deluge started.  I got home and was able to rest for a little over an hour before work.

Got my first bill from all the testing I had done recently.  I get to add it to the pile of bill I am blessed to pay this weekend

I did really well this week I spent as much on tolls to and from NYC as I did  groceries.  I still have a few days of meals so I can take my time before I shop.  I need to get my coupons together before I do any big shopping

Food Total - $00.  Allowance $2.00
