Bachness Recap-

The last month been interesting and I have been very cheap.

I saved $384 so far.

Found out today the landlord is selling the the house I live in so I don't know what that means for next year except I have to save more.  It would be so nice if the Lord gave me a cute house that I only had to pay the taxes on that required minimal upkeep.

I will be tallying up what I saved on food but probably won't be able to take it out until December.

The Lord has been good to me by providing unexpected kindnesses in the forms of food.  Lunch with a friend, treat of White Castle, snacks from my neighbor.

I have kept the same $25 in my wallet for over a week.  It is nice to see it grow.

It looks like I will have to sock away at least $400 per month to approach my goal.

Halloween is in a few days and I want to give mt men goodie bags.  Let's see if the dollar store can still be my rabbit in a hat.

I still want to do Christmas and it will have to be DIY so it want cost too much.

I have been saving at least $15 per week from my food budget and have been knocking down my credit cards.  I have three clear ones and will have another clear one next month maybe two if I can swing it.

BACHness - Fugue Day 2

Still tweaking the savings plan.

Trying to see what is realistic for spending money per week and not having the feeling of reaching my financial goals.

Spoke with my sister about my niece's upcoming wedding - we have a date and a place so I came up with a number of what I need to have for that.

I go my hair done -$55.  It is once every three weeks so it really is my necessary monthly splurge and my hair is really healthy right now.

Did not have time to pack lunch so I bought it - $3.79.  First food money of the week and it really did tide me over until I go home.

Week totals - Food - 3.79     / Lottery- Paid $5- Got $2.

BACHness - Fugue - Day 1

Back to basics.

Here I am blogging again...

The last year has been more of a challenge financially because I was paying off massive doctor bills, my car decided it needed new stuff just after Christmas, I treated myself to a conference and my family trip was overseas.

As I look out for the next 12 months, I realized I need to save the equivalent of a month's gross earnings....in cash.

So once again, I remembered that I did well when I had to blog everyday about how much I spent and more importantly how much I saved if I did stuff, made stuff and bartered for what I needed/wanted.

My weekly allowance will be about the same as last year.

I will come up with my plan over the next week.

I am excited for my year's worth of adventures.
